OUR STORY
Baobab Industrial Group was born out of the desire for a strong group of leading industrial businesses. Geographically South Africa is our home, but the group has subsidiaries in countries ranging from Australia to Madagascar.
Even though we are a new group, some of our subsidiaries have been operating for over 100 years and continue to be the innovators in the market.
Each group company operates independently to bring out their entrepreneurial abilities, but has the backup and support of a strong holding company.
We are backed by an enviable shareholder base in RMB Corvest, the Shalamuka Foundation and management. We pride ourselves in being over 51% black South African owned.
