Established in 1928, WRE is a diversified South African manufacturer of mining consumables and industrial fluid transfer solutions, including valves, fittings, mining hose, snatch blocks and other products. Their factory is based in Krugersdorp with a branch in Burgersfort and a subsidiary, Klambon Water, based in Sydney, Australia. They have various agents around the globe.
Malleable Castings
Malleable Castings is a flexible foundry capable of producing cost effectively both long production runs and shorter, lower volume orders to satisfy the full range of customer needs. It operates on a short lead time, rapid response strategy and has the trained production staff and flexible and balanced melting, moulding and annealing capacity to support this strategy.
Klambon Water (Pty) Ltd
Klambon Water Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of West Rand Engineering (WRE) of South Africa. We commenced operations in Australia is 1986 as a supplier of valves and fittings to the mining industry. Our service extends to customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific rim.

Glenvalve
In May 2006, WRE acquired Glen Valve from Dynamic Fluid Control. Since then, they have been manufacturing and enhancing the Glen Valve range to deliver robust, reliable solutions for mining customers worldwide. This range, which includes Malleable Iron Ball and Butterfly Valves, has been a trusted choice in the mining industry for over 70 years.

Our valve bodies are cast at our in-house foundry, with machining and assembly carried out at their own production facilities in South Africa.

Modular Masts & Towers
(Pty) Ltd
Modular Masts started operations in 1998 and has shown resilience in a very competitive market throughout our existence. They are known for our lattice towers throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries. At first, they only manufactured tubular lattice structures. They have since expanded their product range to include angular lattice structures, guyed lattice masts, lighting poles and comprehensive fencing solutions for telecommunication base stations. Also, enquire about their structural upgrade and replacement solutions for at-risk towers.
Rustenburg Galvanizers
Rustenburg Galvanizers established itself as the preferred galvanizer not only to the North West province but also to a number of Gauteng based customers whom discovered the superior service, excellent quality and unmatched customer focus and person-centred accessibility, open communication and short lead times.
