• Ryan completed his accounting degree at the Nelson Mandela University in 1992, and qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant in 2002.  He was awarded admission as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants in 2022 and is a registered member with CIMA.  

 

• Ryan has 30 years of experience at various entities, in the United Kingdom and South Africa, in various commercial, operational, mergers and acquisition & financial roles.

 

• Prior to joining SPG, Ryan gained diverse experience across several sectors, including ICT, Telecommunications, Broadcasting, Power, Renewable Energy, Construction and the Lyrical Arts.

 

• Since 2023, Ryan has served as CEO of SPG, managing the successful consolidation of Sectional Poles, Modular Masts & Towers, and, most recently, Rustenburg Galvanizers into the broader Baobab Industrial Group.
