Tshidi is a seasoned and experienced investment Analyst with experience in investment management and consulting. She holds a BA(Hons) and a Masters in Accounting and Financial Economics from the University of Essex, UK. She is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoDSA)

 

She was head of Advisory at Makalani Management Company (Pty) Ltd, and her experience of over 30 years has been in a number of Black Economic Empowerment transactions which included valuations, disposals, debt restructuring, implementation of turnaround strategies, fund raising, sourcing of appropriate partners and structuring of Equity ownership deals,

 

Prior to joining Makalani, Tshidi was Executive Director at the Mineworkers Investment Company (Pty) Ltd and was responsible for Investment management. She was part of the team that successfully did the Leveraged Buy-out of Peermont Ltd. This deal was the first Rand denominated High Yield Bond listed on the alternative market of the Irish Stock Exchange in 2007. Significant transactions that Tshidi led included amongst others the acquisition of General Electric Technologies, (a division of GE South Africa), Masana, a division of BPSA and Wescon SA.

She serves as a Non-Executive Director on a number of Boards and Trustee of Educational Trusts and Children’s Trusts.
