Shaun completed his BSc. Eng. (mech) degree from the University of Natal in 1994, with a bursary from ISCOR, where he worked until studying full time for his MBA at the University of Cape Town in 1999. His career then moved to Dimension Data through the dotcom boom, after which he established an IT startup.

 

In 2005 he decided to go back to Engineering and joined WRE as Sales & Marketing director, then CEO. Various acquisitions and iterations of private equity transactions has eventually culminated in the establishment of the Baobab Industrial Group, being a diverse industrial holding company.
